Hawk's Projects
From Art to Photography, to Writing to Music and everything in between. I love creative expression and not only do my own, but try and collaborate with like-minded artists in an attempt to bring life and passion into everything around me. These are some of my projects.

Relaunch
I've been inactive on this site for a while, working on new projects and new adventures, but I plan to change that. To catch you up, I have been traveling and doing paranormal investigations. Originally, I worked with a team called Cape Cod Paranormal. They helped me learn how to use the equipment and properly perform investigations and I even advanced to their Tech Manager position. Sadly, the team began to dissolve and I had to from my own team. I took one more active member, Jessica Stone, with me and we formed JK Paranormal. Our focus became on training investigators for their own research and doing a more school like introduction to the Paranormal field. We are still active in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and take cases. You can contact us at JKParanormalSerivces@gmail.com You can also meet us in person about four times a year as we give tours of the Newport Elk's Lodge in Newport Rhode Island. We were lucky to get this gig, as the Elks rarely allow people to explore their third floor. We have caught some exciting evidence there and love to share our findings and take people up to experience it themselves. We even are in talks to do a local TV show in Carver, MA focusing on educating people on the paranormal. I've filmed some of the first episode, but scheduling has got in the way. I'm still writing when I can, have a few projects going on there, but most take a back burner these days. I've also been working on some tabletop game design ideas as well as have been running a weekly dungeons and dragons game. My players have established their own town, lost said town, dealt with a slug bursting from a comrade's chest, created an airship, battled many dragons, witnessed a dragon growing a metallic coat over it's scales, and are currently investigating a gang of Skull clad individuals who may have killed one player's father. I, originally, ran two separate groups in the same world, one on Tuesday & one on Sunday, but have since merged it into one group and am even thinking of slowing it to once a month so I have more time to write in between adventures. I think you are now caught up on my projects, hopefully I will be more frequent with my posts now.

Music: A.D. Stoves/The Release
Happy New Year everyone, my New Year's resolution, get my lazy ass back in gear and write some updates for all of you following me...which currently is four amazing people. :) I started my New Year off by running into a music contact of mine, his name is A.D. Stoves and you can listen to some of his music on his youtube channel. He also has a book out entitled In Your Eyes. The links are his Barnes and Noble and Amazon buy pages. Which brings me to another local band I am friend's with, The Release, I went to High School with the drummer and really enjoy their sound. You guys should check them out. Unfortunately my phone fried itself on New Years so I am trying to recollect my contact numbers and a few projects may be on hold because of it. Oh and a quick note about a possible photo shoot involving an up and coming model named Jasmine Snow, she is coming to visit me and we may find some time after goofing off to talk about a project together. I have actually stumbled into alot of models lately and figured its time to look into a little of my photography.

Reflections
You know, I created this blog and intended for it to be strictly professional. A good example of that is that the first to posts on it are on my birthday and my mothers, yet you will see no personal noting of that on them, this was and I still intend for it to be, strictly for business related activities and projects. Unfortunately, alot of my personal life has dominated over the past month or two and I haven't had a chance to keep updating this. I plan to change that, my goal is at least one post a week. It may be anything as simple as a characters bio so far or another excerpt from a chapter, or a video from my, still empty youtube channel. Anyways, hope my followers and whomever else reads this starts seeing a steady increase of posts. Once again, I apologize for not having more up yet.

A lil more on Poppyseed Street
Here's a sample draft of the start of my first book in the Poppyseed Street series:
Poppyseed Street didn't used to be as bad as it is. I remember the old days, Hell, I grew up there. I guess it all started back when I was still in my senior year of High School, that's when Pierre started his "business proposition." I was clueless back then, he was good at keeping his project under wraps, but when he was finally exposed, everything came out.Hope you like it so far. More to come soon.
You see, Pierre hailed from France, Nice to be exact. He started a local bakery shop where he honed his skills and saved up and bought himself a ticket to America in hopes of making it big. Like many of the wash-ashores of those times, he got processed in New York City where he opened his first American restaraunt in the Bronx. He struggled for many years in the ghetto areas of New York, facing rackets, thugs, and mafia interference. Being meek in build, this short, scrawny man learned to survive on his wit in such a dangerous area, eventually making peace and forming an alliance with some of the major movers and shakers within the mob in order for protection and they generally held meetings at his restaraunt which slowly became famous for its amazing steak.
Pierre's world-renowned steak was advertised as only the best meat with very carefully guarded secret ingredients and spices. People from all around the world would gather in New York just to taste the rich and juicy flavored meat. It drew so much attention that eventually the cops were busy managing the lines to get in the door, where they noticed some of the big wigs from the mob meeting there. A sting was planned and the restaraunt was raided, it was one of the biggest busts in mob history.
Unfortunately, when the news of the raid hit the papers, Pierre's restaraunt got associated with the mob that met there and his business suffered. That's when Pierre decided to count his losses, move away from the dangerous streets he grew to know as his home and move to DC in an attempt to save his business. The US capitol gave him a fresh start, but his meat wasn't getting the rave reviews it once had, it appeared the raid had a mental effect on the chef and he lost his touch, falling from the greatest chef down to nothing more than average.

Introduction
Hi my name is Kaysin and this blog was created in order to keep anyone and everyone updated on my current projects. My friends know me as Hawk the Phoenix or Hawk for short and I love to dabble in all forms of entertainment. Currently, I am working on a novel series called Poppyseed Street, which is a dark take on some otherwise innocent characters from my childhood. See if you can catch the reference to which childhood show or shows it focuses on. ;) Also I am working on a few things for my Youtube channel, Hawk The Phoenix which will feature local entertainment of many different varieties, from promotional work with East Coast Professional Wrestling to local artists, musicians, and anyone else who might be interested in working together. Johnny Thunder of ECPW is a good friend of mine and I look forward to working on projects with him.
